We Care About Quality
Water. Our water goes through a filtration system. After it is filtered we structure it.
Structured water is "nature's water" in the sense that it contains the high electrical charge/pH balance that our cells need to function at an optimum level. This is not Kombucha.
Kombucha is a fermented green or black tea base with an addition of a bacteria culture known as a "scoby" that ferments anywhere from 7 to 20 days.
WestWood Organics sodas are fermented with a fruit tea base and a bacteria culture that ferments for up to 3 days. This explains our refreshing and powerful taste.
Many companies use plastic materials and metal containers when fermenting their products. When a product is fermented, it absorbs toxins and chemicals from the plastic and metal. The only way to avoid absorbing toxins is utilizing glass and bamboo products. We clean all of our supplies and our fermentation environment with vinegar, which itself is a fermented product, and structured water, so that we are constantly introducing healthy bacteria and avoiding toxins altogether to the best of our ability.
We take every detail into consideration and make sure our bodies are clean before handling the product in any way. Before bottling our finished product, the bottles and caps themselves are rinsed with our structured water.
Our fermentation environment is constantly held at perfect temperature for the bacteria to do its work, and we utilize a Himalayan salt lamp which helps to absorb pollutants, mold, and any other harmful, airborne toxins.
