Sidekick Soda

Our Story

Rogie and I co-founded Sidekick Soda at the beginning of 2023 after many months of planning and product development. Our goal was to create a tasty, healthy and ‘better-for-you’ soda that stood apart from the traditional high-sugar, artificially sweetened and often tasteless drinks.

We use real fruit, raw organic Apple Cider Vinegar and New Zealand Honey to sweeten our sodas. Each Sidekick is packed with flavour, Gluten Free and All-Natural – the perfect drink for any Hero (like you).

Sidekick Soda is our take on the classic drinking ‘shrub’ that my Mum used to make for me over 40 years ago. Mum knew the health benefits of apple cider vinegar on the gut.

Both of us are animal lovers. I don’t remember a time when my house wasn’t full of re-homed and rescue cats and dogs. Because part of our journey in business is about helping others it was a no-brainer to team up with Paw Justice, a New Zealand based animal charity supporting rescue groups with a Foodbank, emergency surgery fund and education program to teach the young about animal care and welfare. We hope our donations from Sidekick Soda will make a difference.
