They fell in love at first sip, and from then on, the drink became the source of their every conversation. Intent on bringing this unique flavour back to Europe, they spent the next few weeks scrawling plans on the beach, sketching bottle designs into the sand, and hunting down the best mate flavours Rio de Janeiro had to offer. Jacopo thought right away about mixing it with the Sicilian Lemons his grandfather used to give him for literally any reason, from starter to dessert, from food to medicine, from day to nighttime.
