Our Organic Story

Built on an unwavering commitment to 100% organic, ethically, and sustainably sourced food, Biona began life around a kitchen table in London over 30 years ago. Noel and Donata started experimenting with simple homemade granola, which they packed and sold in their pioneering organic food shop, Windmill Wholefoods. It was so popular, that they quickly outgrew their kitchen table and Biona was born.

Brewed using only the best organic ingredients. It is naturally sparkling with a refreshingly crisp flavour. Subtly sweet, this kombucha is available in 3 delicious varieties; Original, Ginger & Lime, and Sour Cherry & Mint.

Original

Kombucha is a fermented, lightly effervescent drink traditionally from China. It is produced by fermenting tea, sugar and symbiotic culture of bacteria and yeast (SCOBY) - the result is a naturally sparkling drink with a refreshingly crisp, subtly sweet flavour.

We use only the finest organic ingredients in our original Kombucha. Enjoy chilled on its own, or combine with a juice of your choice to create a refreshing mocktail!
